Train Stations from Vienna to Istanbul in
On the railway route between Vienna and Istanbul lies a place called Biser.
This Bulgarian village is one of the few places with images on Google Street View.
I like the name.
In most southern Slavic languages biser means pearl.
I do not know why this place got its name for it appears to be an exact opposite of a shiny pearl.
It may be similar to the robust shells in which the pearls grow.
The train route from Vienna to Istanbul could also be such a shell, and
if this is the case I have already found my pearl (biser).
